Our baroque farm is located in the idyllic village center of Rhodt. The tourist information office, bakery, and butcher are just a few steps away – no more than 50 meters. Rhodt is famous for its numerous artists' shops, which are lined up like pearls along the picturesque Theresienstraße. Here you will also find a variety of wineries, restaurants, bistros, and cafés that invite you to linger. For larger shopping trips, the nearby town of Edenkoben is ideal, where supermarkets such as Lidl, Aldi, SBK, and dm can be found. A special highlight is the Rietburg Castle, which towers majestically above Rhodt. From there, you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama that enchants with golden vineyards in autumn or, on clear days, stretches as far as the Black Forest. Another cultural gem is Villa Ludwigshöhe, the former summer residence of King Ludwig I. It offers not only historical insights but also regularly hosts interesting cultural events and concerts. Rhodt lies in the heart of the Southern Wine Route, where the most beautiful wine-growing villages are lined up. From April to October, festivals for every taste take place here almost every weekend. During Advent, atmospheric Christmas markets enchant the region. And if you fancy a trip to France, it's just a stone's throw away! There's so much to discover, enjoy, and celebrate here – with heart and style!
Most tourists enjoy driving through the historic villages and beautiful landscape. Mountain bikers and road cyclists love the region for its landscape and variety of routes on and off road.
Even without a car or a bike, it’s easy to get here and to get around. You arrive by train at the station in the neighboring village of Edenkoben. From there it is a short bus ride to our apartments and the bus stop is less than one minute away. In Edenkoben you’ll find supermarkets and shops from major retail chains.
